Cardiac arrest strikes 10,000 people at work per year.

When empowering your employees to save a life, rely on the experts.   With more than 1 million AEDs deployed, we not only offer an extensive AED portfolio we also leverage deep expertise to prepare your employees to help save lives.

What are AEDs?

An automated external defibrillator, or AED, is used to help those experiencing sudden cardiac arrest. It's a sophisticated, yet easy-to-use, medical device that can analyze the heart's rhythm and, if necessary, deliver an electrical shock, or defibrillation, to help the heart re-establish an effective rhythm.

Why are AEDs important?

With quick cardiopulmonary resuscitation (CPR) and emergency defibrillation, you can dramatically help raise the odds of a person surviving a sudden cardiac arrest.

Who can use an AED?

Most AEDs are designed for use by non-medical personnel, such as firefighters, police officers, flight attendants, and family members.

Am I required to have an AED?

While OSHA doesn't require them, they do highly recommend them to be available and employees be trained to utilize them during cardiac-related events.

  • #1 way to care for your team

  • Invest in the well-being of your organization's most important assets - its People. Institute an employee health and wellness program which informs and challenges them to produce greater energy, clarity and performance. Provide the tools and training necessary to support one another in emergency situations.
  • Two ways to prepare for workplace emergencies:

  • Deploy lifesaving AEDs across your organization, campus or vehicles as early defibrillation is the only treatment for sudden cardiac arrest. Implement a safety plan for responding to cardiac arrest by ensuring device readiness as well as training employees in CPR and in the use of an automatic external defibrillator.
  • When someone collapses from sudden cardiac arrest, response time is critical. Reducing response time by even one or two minutes from time of collapse to AED shock can mean the difference between survival and death.
